PRESCHOOL & CHILD CARE

The YMCA offers preschool and child care by the hour at the YMCA facility in Medford.  Information about YMCA afterschool child care offered at elementary schools in the Medford, Phoenix-Talent, and Central Point school districts is found on Afterschool Programs.

Financial Assistance is available and DHS is accepted. For prices, times, details and contact information read the Child Care Brochure.                                                                                

Preschool

YMCA state-certified preschool for ages 3 to 5 years old includes swim lessons and movement education along with early school readiness.  Caring, energetic professionals follow the Creative Curriculum fostering the developmental growth of language, social, emotional and life skills.  Our center based environment is designed with each unique child’s age and developmental needs in mind.  Centers offer exploration with science, math, art and dramatic play integrating small and large motor skill experiences.  Snack included.  10:1 maximum ratio. Child Care by the hour

YMCA state-certified child care by the hour for ages 3 to 6 years old is designed with flexibility in mind for parents who work or need care. We bill you once a month, only for the hours you use. The times offered match beautifully with our preschool classes or can be used alone to add simplicity to weekly errands. Our staff delights in offering a wide range of developmentally appropriate structured activities and fun for children. Snack included. 10:1 maximum ratio. Child Watch

This service, included in a family membership, allows you to leave your child in a safe environment while you workout in the facility. There is a maximum usage of 2 hours per day. Children must be clean and fed before being dropped off. We cannot accept children who are visibly ill. We do not serve snacks and are not state-certified.
