YOUTH SPORTS

YMCA Youth Sports give youth an opportunity to fill their free time with positive activities and quality time with caring role models. Volunteer coaches will emphasize teamwork and cooperation over winning and help youth develop the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility on the field and in their day to day lives. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches and team parents as well as being their kid’s greatest fan. Take a look at the current Youth Sports Flyer then to register, please print, complete and return the Youth Sports Registration Form.

Interested in coaching youth sports?

As a volunteer sports coach, assistant coach or team parent, you are in both a demanding and a rewarding position. You may be an interested parent with little actual sports knowledge or you may be a highly skilled individual with no family members involved. No matter what your situation, we all share an interest in the children of our community and their personal growth received through sports. All staff and volunteers are background checked plus participate in a coaches’ clinic. If you would like to volunteer then print, complete and submit a Volunteer Application.
