Financial Assistance Scholarships

Financial Assistance Scholarships are available for those with demonstrated need, to learn more click HERE. Some insurance companies have a membership dues benefit to help with the cost of your membership. Membership scholarships are available to all Jackson Care Connect members reducing YMCA membership to a third of the cost. Rogue Credit Union members receive a $10/month reduction in membership dues, if paying with your Rogue Credit Union account.

Included with Membership:

Access to all Rogue Valley Family YMCA fitness facilities. Currently the Medford Facility and Phoenix Plaza.

Nationwide membership. “When you join one Y, you join all Ys” so check out Ys across the country at www.ymca.org  and Ys around the world at www.ymca.int.

Group Exercise Classes such as ZUMBA, easy does it aerobics, toning, group cycling, step aerobics, cardio belly dance, core conditioning, yoga, pilates and tai chi.

Water Fitness Classes such as water step aerobics, therapeutic mobility, water wellness and Aqua ZUMBA.

Fitness Orientation to learn how to the use the fitness equipment and learn about the classes. Strongly recommend you take advantage of this when you join.

Child Watch for children ages 6 months to 6 years old.  Two hours maximum each day included with a family membership.  The parent or guardian must stay in the facility.

Toddler activities such as tumble tots and music & movement classes.

Youth Center for ages 7 to 17 years old.  It has computers, pool table, video games, etc.  Individual youth memberships are available.

Homeschool & Charter School PE class for both youth and teens during the school year.  There are also adult fitness classes available at the same time for parents to work-out.

Summer PE class for ages 6 to 12 during the summer. Kids stay active while parents are working-out.

Equipment for check-out such as basketballs, volleyballs, indoor soccer balls, racquetball racquets and wallyball net (wallyball is volleyball in a racquetball court).  Monthly racquetball skill clinics provided.

Guest passes six (6) per year and if any of your guests join then we’ll refill your account!

Membership holds, put your account on hold (and not have to pay) once a year for up to 4 months. Used for things like injury, illness, travel, etc..

Monthly family nights are a great time to get the family and enjoy the Y. Activities include swimming, climbing gym, and structured games or activities for the whole family.

Youth Areas

  • Child Watch Room for ages 6 months to 6 years old, 2 hours max daily included with membership, guardian must stay in facility 
  • Preschool Classrooms for preschool and state-certified child care, guardian may leave the facility
  • Youth Center for ages 7-17 years old, has computers, billiards, snooker, foosball, video games, etc. 

Recreation Areas

  • Climbing Gym with 20’ wall, 8’ bouldering wall and padded floor 
  • Racquetball Courts, reservations can be made
  • Gymnasium with a full size basketball court and four hoops

Fitness Areas

  • Fitness Center with cardio equipment, strength equipment and free weights
  • Adults Only Upstairs Fitness Area with cardio and strength equipment 
  • Aerobic Studio with all group exercise classes included with membership
  • Mind-Body Room with yoga, pilates and tai chi included with membership

Aquatic Center

  • Swimming pool (83 degrees), 25 yards long, 8 lanes
  • UV Water Sanitizing System for the swimming pool which is better than saline and much better than chlorine!
  • Therapy pool (97 degrees) with therapeutic mobility classes included with membership

Changing Rooms

  • Adult Only Locker Rooms that lead into the fitness center
    • Saunas in the adult only locker rooms
  • Pool Locker Rooms for all ages that lead into the aquatic center
  • Family Changing Rooms that lead into the aquatic center

Membership Policies

Family Environment: Your YMCA strives to create a youth and family centered environment based on our four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. 

Youth Supervision: All youth 12 and under must be in a supervised program or with their parent/guardian while participating at the Y. Unattended youth that are outside of supervised programs will be asked to leave for the day.

Code of Conduct: Members must abide by posted rules and follow instructions from staff while using the facilities or participating in a program. 

Waiver: The YMCA assumes no responsibility for injuries or illness that may sustain as a result of a physical condition or resulting from participation. YMCA personnel may render medical treatment necessary and appropriate.  Payment of any resulting medical, hospital or related costs and expenses is the member’s responsibility. 

Insurance: It is the members and participants responsibility to provide his or her own accident and health insurance. The YMCA does not provide coverage for members and program participants.

Guests Privileges: Each membership (ages 18+) receive 6 guest passes annually. Members must accompany guests at all times. Guests ages 18+ must provide valid photo ID.  

Membership Hold: Members may put their account on hold once a year for up to 4 months, usually due to injury, illness or travel. Must be submitted in writing.

Weapons Policy: Most weapons are prohibited at the YMCA. Only law enforcement and class instruction are allowed. Members may have a small pepper spray and/or a small pocket knife (blade less than 3”). No toy guns that look like real guns.

Cancellation: To cancel your membership, you must provide a minimum of 14 days written notice prior to your billing cycle.

Fitness Center Guidelines: Please observe all posted rules. Ages 10-12 may work out in tandem with a parent after a youth orientation. Ages 13-14 may work out downstairs after a youth orientation. Ages 15-17 may workout downstairs, orientation is optional. Ages 18+ may use all equipment and facilities.

Credits and Refunds: A full refund or credit will be given if we cancel a program prior to it starting. A prorated refund or prorated credit will be given if we discontinue a program after it starts. A prorated refund or prorated credit for membership dues will be given with a 14 day written notice. If you cancel from a program, then only a prorated credit will be issued minus all administrative fees. If dismissed from the YMCA, then no refunds will be given.

Changing Rooms: The adult only locker rooms at the front of the facility are for adults 18 years and older. Children under 18 years of age should use the family changing rooms or the pool locker rooms. All children 6 and older must use the same sex locker rooms, the family changing rooms, or the private bathroom.

Lockers: Lockers are available for day use only. Please bring your own lock and remove it at the end of each visit. Items left overnight will be removed from the locker room and placed in lost and found. We recommend that you not bring valuables into the facility. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Photo Policy: YMCA programs and events are often photographed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform the photographer.

Cell Phone Policy: Mobile device use of any kind is not allowed in any of the bathrooms, locker rooms, saunas or changing areas. Phone conversations (longer than a minute) should be held in the lobby, handicapped entrance foyer, or outside areas.
