• Our preschool is registered as a consecutive-week program, available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We strongly encourage families to maintain consistent attendance throughout the school year. Our preschool is more than just child care — it’s a structured, educational environment where meaningful learning takes place every day. Regular attendance is essential to help young children build routines, develop important social and academic skills, and fully engage with their peers and teachers.

• The program includes swim lessons, physical education, time outdoors, art expression and dramatic play.
• Morning and afternoon snack are provided, families must provide their own lunch
• All children must be potty-trained

We are DHS, Employment Related Day Care (ERDC), approved and we can take this state subsidy.

Registration priority will be given to current program participants.

YMCA Preschool – Where children grow through play, exploration, and routine.

Located at the YMCA Main Facility at 522 W. Sixth Street, Medford, OR 97501, our Preschool Program is ERDC (Employment Related Day Care) state subsidy approved.

We offer a Monday–Friday consecutive-week program from 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Consistent attendance helps children build routines, strengthen social and academic skills, and develop meaningful connections with peers and teachers.

Children enjoy a variety of enriching activities including swim lessons, physical education, outdoor adventures, art, and imaginative dramatic play that encourage creativity, confidence, and learning every day.

Morning and afternoon snacks are provided; families provide a healthy lunch.
