Rafting Camp

Rafting Camp

When you live in the Rogue Valley you should get the opportunity to experience the Rogue River. Campers paddle down river each day with plenty of opportunities for swimming. Each night the group will camp along the river under the stars. Campers must be comfortable in and on the water. All campers and staff will be    required to wear their life jacket at all times in and on the water and YMCA lifeguards oversee the entire trip.

We will be departing at Cole River Fish Hatchery and floating for 3 days down to Tou Velle State Park. We will stop the first night at Rogue Elk Park and the second night just below Dodge Bridge. Group camping equipment is provided by the YMCA, you just need to pack your personal gear (a packing list provided one week before the camp), eat a complete breakfast before arriving, and bring a lunch for the first day. All other food will be provided by the YMCA.  Each night will be a memorable experience as we setup our camp site, cook our meals, and finish the evening with a campfire along the river. Campers will experience the Rogue River like never before and learn some cool stuff along the way.
